At the end of July, on a gloriously sunny Sunday, we had the pleasure of hosting C+T’s Wedding Day & with the knowledge that they were entrusting the flowers, photography & cake to not only such wonderful MBC Partners, but MBC Partners who are no strangers to working with one another, we just knew that Millbridge Court would look utterly spectacular & the day would run seamlessly from start to finish.

Carrie Macey’s vibrant Summer blooms filled the Arbor Garden, the Dining Barn & created an added wow factor for the already stunning Patisserie Boutique, created by Kalm Kitchen. The beautiful three-tiered Naked Cake, created by Le Papillon Patisserie, carried through the rustic, countryside feel of the day & capturing ever joyous moment & little detail so perfectly was Jon from VLA Photography.

C+T, it really was a privilege to be a part of your Special Day & to get to know you both throughout the planning process. Wishing you every happiness in your married lives together!

The team at Millbridge Court are delighted to finally reveal a secret we have been keeping for far too long!

Available from May 2017, The Lodge at Millbridge Court is designed with our brides and grooms in mind and will offer romantic and stylish accommodation during your stay.
The Lodge is to be tucked away in a currently undeveloped part of the grounds and will be constructed off site to ensure no disruption to our events and guests.
This cozy woodland setting will provide privacy away from the party and allow the bride and groom to wake up on the morning after their wedding overlooking the beautiful meadows, before joining their fellow guests for breakfast at the house.

June was such a beautiful month here at Millibridge Court & we are so looking forward to sharing with you this particular Wedding Day which took place on Friday 10th June, not only because the images are utterly spectacular, but because the Bride & Groom booked Millbridge Court all the way from Australia!

Once the date was confirmed S+J arranged for a one week trip to the UK in December to see Millbridge Court in person, have a planning meeting, meet with their potential suppliers & create their vision for their day & we were so excited to be able to guide them through this process & introduce them to our trusted Partners.

When the Big Day itself came around we were completely in awe of how perfectly it all came together! In charge of floralising Millbridge Court, both inside & out, was MBC Partner Blush Floral Design. The archway at the top of the Arbor Garden looked sensational covered in blush peonies, roses & hydrangeas & the beautiful centerpieces comprised of delicate pink & white arrangements in metallic jars. Simple, classy & very effective. Their beautiful naked cake was made by Jen from Spongeworks which took centre stage in the Dining Barn & we had the pleasure of welcoming The Springles to Millbridge Court for the first time. The love & laughter is so clear to see when looking through their photos & we are so excited to share them with you all. But first, here are a few words from the Bride herself. Xx

I just to say a big thank you for making our big day magical on Friday. After getting engaged last June I had in my head my dream wedding and you made it a reality on Friday. As we are based in Australia at the moment picking a venue just from pictures could be a bit risky but once we finally saw it in December we knew we choose the perfect venue. We are so excited to share with you this breathtaking Millbridge Court Winter Wedding Day recently featured on Rock My Wedding.

J+S chose Millbridge Court as their Venue not long after the build was completed & brought together a host of wonderful industry professionals to make their dream day a reality.

Knowing that flowers are harder to come by in November the couple decided to opt for more foliage & planting than blooms, with the main centerpieces being creatively centered around rooms that you find in the home.

Menus, place cards, the table plan & table names were all beautifully handwritten by MBC Partner Judy Broad Calligraphy & their blush & navy colour palette was complimented beautifully by Kalm Kitchen’s coloured napkins.

J+S also had lots of DIY aspects to their styling, such as the ‘Welcome’ pallet & unique table plan (see rustic door & post box below) which added a wonderfully personal touch to the day. They are so impressive that unsurprisingly, the Bride has started designing & creating styling items for Wedding Day’s in her spare time!

Thank you J+S for allowing us to be able to share in your Wedding Day; it really was magical from start to finish & a complete & utter joy to be a part of. We love the month of May for many reasons here at Millbridge Court; our gardens become more colourful by the day, our flower meadow is in bloom, the days are getting longer & warmer (the list goes on) but most importantly, it is the first month of the year where we are able to host our beautiful Arbor Wedding Days & on 7th May, we had the privilege of hosting Mr & Mrs Grannan’s gorgeous Wedding Day.

Entrusted with the blooms was MBC Partner & all round lovely lady, Gill Pike who filled our Barn’s with an abundance of pink peonies, blush hydrangeas, daisy’s & gypsophila. She even stayed until the Ceremony creating the button holes on site, as well as decorating the Arbor garden to perfection.

Their chosen photographer for the day was MBC Partner Jon from VLA Photography. It was such a pleasure, as always, to have him join us & so lovely to see the way in which he uses the different aspects of the building & varying backdrops of Millbridge Court to take his exquisite couples photographs.

Thank you J+M for letting us share in your beautiful Wedding Day; to be able to witness your blessing underneath our Arbor was so wonderful & you could not have been luckier with the unpredictable English weather. Last month we had the pleasure of welcoming back our wonderful couples for our spectacular Spring Soiree here at Millbridge Court.  It was the perfect opportunity for our Brides and Grooms to see Millbridge Court full of life and meet with some of our fabulous MBC Partners.

Our couples and their families were welcomed in to our front lounges where they were greeted with a glass of Prosecco, a delicious Brazilian cocktail created by our talented Bar Manager, and a glass of sparkling elderflower.  They were then invited through to the Barns where we had the wonderful Kalm Kitchen team presenting a selection of their ingenious food stalls including their Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream Bar and Donut Wall.

Creating gorgeous floral centrepieces in our Dining Barn were Paula Rooney, Blush Floral Design and Gill Pike Florist.  Each had a table which they dressed so brilliantly in varied and inspiring ways, showcasing their unique styles.  Kalm Kitchen complimented all floral arrangements with coloured linens and glassware.  Blush Floral Design also decorated the Ceremony Barn to perfection with two beautiful urn displays, whilst Paula Rooney created four spectacular floral displays around our Arbor.

We also had the pleasure of being joined by the fabulous Bubblegum Balloons who displayed their stylish Mr and Mrs Balloons in our front lounges; with their colourful confetti balloons adding an element of fun to our Dining Barn.

And last but not least, we had the newest addition to our Partners list, Philippa Sian Photography, showcasing her phenomenal portfolio. Philippa mingled with our couples and captured so many amazing images of the day.

Last week, we were absolutely over the moon to see that one of our very gorgeous Millbridge Court Wedding Days is on the cover of Your Surrey Wedding Magazine with a fabulous piece of editorial written by the Bride accompanied by Ginny Marsh’s breath-taking photos of the day.

Lizzie & Adam chose Millbridge Court as their Wedding Venue in January 2015 following their December engagement & managed to book our last remaining August Saturday. Their vision was a relaxed countryside Wedding Day with a rustic feel & their colour palette of lavender hues complimented this perfectly. They added some really wonderful touches to the day’s proceedings opting for a Patisserie Boutique dessert which allowed for a relaxed end to their wedding breakfast, they also had an addition of three incredible singing waiters that kept everyone thoroughly entertained just ahead of the speeches & in place of favours, they had mojitos for each of their guests as the evening party started. Lovely, individual touches that made their day so special.

We are so excited to share with you this breathtaking March Wedding Day.

Mr & Mrs Ratcliffe first looked around Millbridge Court a week or two before the Venue was complete & having booked shortly afterwards wasted no time in securing some of the best industry suppliers to bring their dream Wedding Day to life.

Their florist of choice was none other than the incredible Kate Avery. Spring colour palette’s just don’t come more beautiful & like always, not even a single corner of Millbridge Court was left untouched. The centrepieces were complimented perfectly by handmade table numbers & rustic place cards made by the Bride & Kalm Kitchen’s luxurious charcoal linens & light grey napkins.

Continuing the rustic theme was a rather phenomenal naked cake made by Millbridge Court Partner, Milk Street Kitchen who L&D met at our November Soiree. Such an elegant & beautifully simple looking cake which was bursting with strawberry & coconut flavour.

We were also tremendously excited to be working alongside Guy Collier Photography once again. Guy’s photos always tell a story & the joy, the laughter, the emotions of the day are so evident when looking through these images. Thank you, Guy, for capturing every element of the day so perfectly & for being such a pleasure to work with.

Wishing Mr & Mrs Ratcliffe so much love & happiness in their married lives together. Thank you for letting us share in your Wedding day, it really was a complete & utter privilege. Xx

Today, we have another absolutely breathtaking Millbridge Court August Wedding Day to share with you all.

G&A were the third couple to choose Millbridge Court as their Wedding Venue when the Barn walls were yet to be finished & everything from the roof, to the floor boards, to gardens & our Arbor had to be imagined, with just a little assistance from our CGI’s.

Upon booking, Mr & Mrs Butcher then chose a host of incredible suppliers to bring their Wedding Day life, one of which was MBC Partner & all round lovely lady, Hannah Berry Flowers. Hannah & her team of florists arrived early on the Saturday morning & dressed our Arbor with a rustic floral garland with tall original milk churns standing either side, filled with natural style flowers. The aisle was lined with little glass jam jars filled with pastel blooms & the colour palette was created from calming pastel shades of pale peach, blues, blush pinks and silvers which really complimented the beautiful grey linen Kalm Kitchen provided for the wedding breakfast. 

Benjamin Toms was the Bride & Grooms photographer who captured the proceedings of the day & the details so perfectly, even getting some great snaps of G&A’s ‘Carve at the Table’ main course dish as the chosen carvers made their way to their tables.

In April we had the pleasure of hosting a breathtaking shoot here at Millbridge Court which was featured in You & Your Wedding Magazine’s September Issue. The visionary and stylist behind the photoshoot was Michelle Pierre-Carr and the talented Millbridge Court Partner Eddie Judd was the chosen photographer.

Michelle’s inspiration for the shoot was Pantone’s colour of 2015, Tangerine, and she set out to bring together an orange grove of colours and shades with greenery and scents aplenty. The focus of the shoot became the gorgeous fruit chandeliers hanging over the banquet table which was situated at the end of our Dining Barn, and featured beautiful vintage touches of cream and gold. Old world romance was combined with bringing the natural beauty of the outdoors inside, a concept that is behind the very design of Millbridge Court.
