November Wedding Day #marriedatmillbridge
In November, we had the complete & utter privilege of hosting this wonderful Wedding Day. In true British Winter fashion, there was a little rain, but that most certainly did not stop the happy couple or their guests smiling from ear to ear throughout the days celebrations. Being sent Lydia Stamps gorgeous images & being able to re-live the day was a real pleasure & we’re very excited to share them with you all.
Beautiful blooms were created by The Gorgeous Flower Company, their show-stopping balloons were supplied by Pom Pom Stuido & Catherine’s gorgeous dress is an Amanda Wyatt gown from Sass & Grace Bridal.
Ahead of us sharing Lydia’s photos of the celebrations, we wanted to share with you below some really lovely words from the Bride & Groom… And all that’s left for us to say is, Catherine & Ian, the pleasure really was all ours & we wish you every happiness in your married lives together. Xx
“Dear EVERYONE at Millbridge and Kalm Kitchen,
Massive, massive thanks to all of you who helped to make our day happen yesterday. We knew as soon as we saw Millbridge Court that it was the place for us, and you didn’t disappoint!
Everything was perfect, we would not have changed anything. From the very beginning when we first met with you, to the prompt email replies and meetings to talk things through, you have been so professional and so personable. We’ve loved every minute of organising our wedding and you helped us to make it a reality!
All our guests (yes all of them!) commented on how fantastic the venue was, and even the suppliers told us how it was genuinely one of the best they’d ever seen (and they must see a lot!).
It’s difficult to articulate how amazing our day was… words cannot do it justice! You played a huge part in making it so truly, truly fabulous.
All our love and sincere thanks,
Catherine and Ian”
Winter Weddings At MBC #marriedatmillbridge
Oh how we love a gorgeous Winter Wedding Day at Millbridge Court, the twinkly lights, the night-time Arbor shots, the seasonal cocktails & food & breathtaking couples shots with dramatic winter skies… the list goes on.
Our Ceremony Barn offers so much natural light, even on those darker days & for those couples who have opted to have a later winter Ceremony time, the floor to ceiling glass becomes such a feature, with all of the fairy lights & chandelier light reflecting back inwards. The Millbridge Court lounges & smaller barn area are such warm & atmospheric spaces for the drinks reception & our hallway has been newly refurbished & now has a feature wall & additional seating & tables for guests to enjoy.
On all of our winter wedding days the Dining Barn looks utterly magical, filled with flowers, foliage, candle & fairy lights & so much more. The ability to opt for coloured table linen has meant that many of the below couples have chosen blue or grey linen’s to further reflect the season & to compliment their centrepieces; the littlest detail that can make a huge impact on the feel of the room.
The Millbridge Court Arbor has proven to be the perfect spot for Winter Wedding photos. Many photographers have used back lighting to create dramatic evening shots of the Bride & Groom & on certain Wedding Days its meant the couple can stay dry whilst getting a whole host of gorgeous photos together with the gorgeous Surrey countryside as the backdrop.
Below are a collection of photos taken from a handful of our beautiful Winter Wedding Days, some taking place as recently as last month & all featuring gorgeous blooms, inspirational styling details & a whole load of beaming faces.
Suppliers are credited below the individual images & a full list of suppliers featured is noted at the end of the post.
Happy browsing & happy 2017, you lovely lot! Xx
