Spring Wedding Day #marriedatmillbridge
In May, the wonderful S+D became Husband & Wife at Millbridge Court in an intimate & elegant Spring Wedding Day.
Having visited a mere five months before the Big Day itself, the happy couple brought together a host of really fabulous suppliers to bring their vision to life. The florist was an incredibly talented family friend from Gunns Florist based in Brighton who flooded the Barn’s with a wonderful mix of vibrant & neutral Spring blooms, including an abundance of absolutely perfect pink peonies. Leaving no detail unthought of, Matt even placed peonies on the top tables place settings, a wonderful final touch.
Millbridge Court Partner Milk Street Kitchen created a classic & elegant three tiered buttercream Wedding Cake which Ellie decorated with yet more peonies & roses. The place cards & table plan was written by the super talented Judy Broad which was complemented perfectly by the Bride & Grooms choice of navy napkins.
The photographer in charge of capturing every precious moment & detail throughout the day (both in front of & behind the scenes) was Martin Makowski. Martin, thank you for sharing your images with us, it was a pleasure to have you with us.
And last, but definitely not least, Mr & Mrs Tai, from all of us here at Millbridge Court, we wish you every happiness in your married lives together & thank you for allowing us to be a part of your Wedding Day!
July Wedding Day #marriedatmillbridge
At the end of July, on a gloriously sunny Sunday, we had the pleasure of hosting C+T’s Wedding Day & with the knowledge that they were entrusting the flowers, photography & cake to not only such wonderful MBC Partners, but MBC Partners who are no strangers to working with one another, we just knew that Millbridge Court would look utterly spectacular & the day would run seamlessly from start to finish.
Carrie Macey’s vibrant Summer blooms filled the Arbor Garden, the Dining Barn & created an added wow factor for the already stunning Patisserie Boutique, created by Kalm Kitchen. The beautiful three-tiered Naked Cake, created by Le Papillon Patisserie, carried through the rustic, countryside feel of the day & capturing ever joyous moment & little detail so perfectly was Jon from VLA Photography.
C+T, it really was a privilege to be a part of your Special Day & to get to know you both throughout the planning process. Wishing you every happiness in your married lives together!
Below are some kind words from the Bride & Groom themselves…
“To the Millbridge Court/ Kalm Kitchen team,
We just wanted to say thank you so much for a fabulous day on Sunday. From beginning to end everything was perfect and exactly what we wanted. We really could not have envisaged a more complete wedding day.
We had countless comments from friends and family about how beautiful the venue is- you even managed to get the sun shining for us! Furthermore the food was absolutely wonderful (the patisserie bar went down especially well and the beef fillet was delicious).
We were so impressed with all the staff at Millbridge, who were always professional, friendly and attentive. Eloise and Sarah you made the day run seamlessly and we greatly appreciate all your hard work, as well as everyone else who helped in the lead up and on the day itself.
Thank you again and best wishes for all the forthcoming weddings.“
