Romantic Summer Wedding Day #marriedatmillbridge
In August of last year, we hosted the utterly stunning Wedding Day of Mr & Mrs Levey & we’re very excited to be sharing a selection of images from E+L’s special day below.
The vision that they had for their Wedding Day was so romantic; a vision that was optimised in their Ceremony flowers which were created by Seventh Heaven Events. Two beautiful floral urn arrangements, abundant with blowsy white, peach & blush flowers framed the Ceremony Barn, they also had delicate floral pew ends & rose petals lining the aisle for E’s entrance. The sensational arrangements didn’t end there, as Seventh Heaven also made abounding centrepieces for each table, the soft colour palette of which went perfectly against the white table linen & metallic vases & candle holders.
The Wedding Cake, which was such a gorgeous focal point in the Dining Barn, was created by Rachelles Cakes. A three tiered, marble effect cake with gold leaf & stunning handmade flowers. Such a delicate, show-stopping design & oh so elegant.
The Bride & Groom thought of every little detail when planning their day & their stationery really took centre stage. Particularly the incredible acrylic engraved ‘Welcome to our Beginning’ sign hung by our bi-fold doors, which was later replaced with their exquisite seating plan, all created by the talented duo that are Two Little Birds.
In charge of capturing all of the beautiful details & the love & emotion of the day was Leanne Jade, who did so perfectly from those special getting ready moments, all the way through until the the first dance. Thank you to Leanne for allowing us to share Mr & Mrs Levey’s day & the biggest thank you of all goes to E+L for allowing us to be a part of what was such a special day. Exclusive Valentines Viewing Evening
Are you newly engaged and looking for the perfect Wedding Venue for your Big Day? Well, in celebration of Valentines Day and all of you lovely couples who have just embarked upon your Wedding Planning journey, we have been organising a Valentines Viewing Evening.
Taking place on Thursday 1st March between 5pm-8pm we are offering you the chance to book in an appointment with a member of our experienced Wedding Planning team who will take you on a tour around the Venue and accommodation, offering you the opportunity to have an in-depth chat about all things Millbridge Court Weddings. In addition to your viewing, there will also be members of our fabulous in-house catering team, Kalm Kitchen, on-site who will be available to chat to you about menu options and answer any initial questions you might have regarding your Wedding Breakfast. They will also be showcasing some delicious treats so you can get feel for their style of presentation and try some of their stunning food.
Here at Millbridge Court, we currently have a few gorgeous Summer and Autumn Wedding dates still available for this year, so should you be looking to have a 2018 Wedding, our Valentines Event will be the perfect opportunity to come and visit us as our in-house Wedding Planners will be on-hand throughout the evening to discuss your initial ideas for your day, offer guidance and share details about our amazing suppliers list.
Our viewing evening is by appointment only and couples will be booked in on a first come, first serve basis, so to ensure you don’t miss out, we recommend getting in touch with us as soon as possible to book your preferred appointment time. What an amazing year we’ve had here at Millbridge Court!
We have been so privileged to share in so many wonderful celebrations and have been able to work with some of the industries most talented suppliers, who week on week help bring our Couples dream Wedding Day’s to life, transforming the Venue and making every day so different from the last.
We are ever so lucky to be sent so many beautiful images captured by photographers throughout the year and as 2017 drew to a close and a new year begins, we wanted to take a look back & share with you all some of the stunning details & special moments from a handful of gorgeous Wedding’s that have taken place here at Millbridge Court.

Elegant Summer Wedding Day #marriedatmillbridge
As we move in to this chilly time of year, we thought we would take a look back at J+D’s wonderful August Wedding Day; a Wedding Day which involved a sunny Arbor Ceremony with most romantic blooms, a gorgeous Patisserie Bar, a show stopping balloon installation & so many happy, smiling faces.
J+D had a really beautiful vision for their day with an elegant colour palette of whites, greys, soft greens & peaches. Creating the floral arrangements that would help to bring their vision to life was the super talented Bloomin Gayles who adorned the Arbor with a sensational cascading eucalyptus & foliage installation, along with two pillar arrangements bursting with delphiniums, roses & white hydrangeas. The beautiful floralising continued within the Dining Barn with Gayle creating gorgeous alternating centrepieces which were complimented perfectly by the soft grey table linens & white napkins chosen by the couple. And adding even more wow factor to the Wedding Breakfast setup was Bubblegum Balloons who created a phenomenal hanging installation along the beams using peach & metallic pink giant balloons.
The Bride & Groom chose to make the most of the interactive menu options that the fabulous Kalm Kitchen offer to Millbridge Court couples & had carve at the table Lamb as their Main Course & a rather gorgeous looking Patisserie Bar, made all the more beautiful by Gayle’s flowers, for dessert. The perfect menu choices to allow guests to mingle & interact throughout the Wedding Breakfast.
Capturing every styling detail, personal touch, spectacular floral arrangement, gorgeous couples shots & all of the happy moments in-between was the wonderful Philippa Sian; a photographer that we have had the pleasure of working with on multiple occasions over the course of the past year & who always brings the most wonderful energy to any Wedding Day.

September Tasting Evening
This week, we’re sharing with you all a selection of gorgeous images taken by the lovely Jasmine Andrews, of the food, drinks & the beautiful setup from our September Tasting Evening.
We love the opportunity that these evenings provide for our couples, not only because they get to try & choose their Wedding Menu but also because they are able to see the Venue in action & at nighttime, they can also gain Wedding inspiration from a handful of fabulous MBC Partners, as well as getting to see the team once again & they can also meet other Millbridge Court couples who they can chat to & share their thoughts & ideas with throughout the evening.
Creating the breathtaking tablescape was our newest MBC Partner, Eden Blooms, a Farnham based Florists who we have had the pleasure of working with on many occasions over the past few years, & who created such intricate & delicate jars of flowers, in wonderfully vibrant & deep autumnal colours on the day of our tasting. Complimenting the change of seasons further was their use of metallic pumpkins & candle holders, as well as a beautiful moss wreath which hung from our shelves. Adding the final touches to the table setup was the one & only Judy Broad Calligraphy who made such exquisite place cards using gold ink on deep blue card which matched the blue & silver striped linens so perfectly.
Serenading our wonderful MBC Brides & Grooms throughout the evening was Tristan Mackay, an amazingly talented musician, singer & songwriter who we always adore working with & listening to.
Lovingly bringing the menu to life was the always outstanding Kalm Kitchen. From the canapés, to the sharing plates, to the intricately plated dishes & the Patisserie Bar (complete with cascading florals by Eden Blooms no less), everything looked, smelt & tasted divine.
Thank you to everyone who we worked alongside to create yet another wonderful Tasting Evening & to all of our lovely Millbridge Court couples who attended, we hope you had the most fabulous evening with us!

The Millbridge Court Autumn Preview 2017
On Sunday, we hosted the Millbridge Court Autumn Preview; an event we host twice a year for our MBC couples, so that they can see the Venue filled with breathtaking Wedding inspiration, as well having the opportunity to try some delicious food & chat to the Millbridge Court Partners showcasing their beautiful work.
We are always completely in awe of what our wonderful Partners create on the day & last weekend was certainly no exception. Creating exquisite tablescapes & arrangements throughout the Venue were Paula Rooney, Carrie Macey (The Topiary Tree), Bex Morgan (Blush Floral Design) & Hannah Berry & showcasing their gorgeous & intricate Wedding Cakes were Andi Freeman & Ellie (Milk Street Kitchen) whose setups looked ever so gorgeous with extra floral touches provided by Blush Floral Design.
Kalm Kitchen once again created a jaw-dropping Patisserie Bar alongside Hannah Berry flowers, complete with a hanging branch installation, orange & metallic pumpkins & seasonal blooms. They also launched a new & innovative food stall… The Pretzel Bar!
The photographers who joined us for our preview were VLA Wedding Photography, Philippa Sian Photography & The Springles; photographers who are always such a pleasure to work with, are immensely talented & all have such distinctive looks. Alongside them, we also had Hannah Aldridge (Hannah Films) showcasing her gorgeous Wedding Day videos for our couples to see.
Adding to the ambience was Thom Morley who serenaded our Brides & Grooms throughout the day and we also had the pleasure of having the ever so lovely Gemma Milly joining us & displaying her stunning stationary.

Kalm Kitchen & Hannah Berry Flowers
Spring Wedding At MBC #marriedatmillbridge
This week, we are sharing with you all Mr & Mrs Pursey’s Spring Wedding Day; a day that involved a team of fabulous industry professionals & so many really stunning & carefully thought through styling details.
With the Spring weather on their side, S&A were lucky enough to have the very first Arbor Wedding Ceremony of 2017 & in charge of making the Arbor Garden look extra beautiful on the day was The Flower Pocket, who created gorgeous blush & white floral pew ends which lined the Arbor aisle.
The inside looked equally as breathtaking with S&A choosing to have two banquet tables running down the length of the Dining Barn, a setup that really accentuates the length of the Barn & the floor to ceiling glass wall. The tables were then adorned with light grey linens which complimented the soft floral colour palette perfectly & The Flower Pockets continual foliage arrangement that ran down the centre of each of the tables looked utterly stunning. Adding further to the gorgeousness of the day was Mr & Mrs Pursey’s elegant Wedding Cake created by MBC Partner Ellie from Milk Street Kitchen, complete with white buttercream & gold leaf (no less).
Their chosen Photographer was the wonderful VLA Photography who always takes so much care in capturing the all important details of the day & never fails to take such brilliant shots of the happy couple around the Millbridge Court grounds. It is always such a pleasure to have VLA joining us & thank you to Jon for allowing us to share his wonderful imagery on our blog.

Autumn Wedding Day At Millbridge Court #marriedatmillbridge
With Autumn well & truly upon us, it seemed like the perfect time to share with you all one of last years stunning October Wedding Days.
C&I’s vision for their day was simply breathtaking & the suppliers that brought their autumnal vision to life did so perfectly. Their florist was none other than the wonderful Jay Archer Floral Design who created the most phenomenal Ceremony Archway, not to mention the stunning floral arrangements in both the Ceremony & the Dining Barn, abundant with rich, colourful flowers & foliage. Little touches such as dried leaves lining the aisle & hanging fresh leaves from the pegs & shelves really added to the theme & made such a spectacular visual impact.
In charge of capturing the beautiful details & styling touches, as well as all of those special moments was Guy Collier, a photographer who always manages to tell the story of the day so seamlessly, from the Bridal preparations, right up until the dancing is well underway. Whittling the images down to choose which ones would be featured below was near to impossible, so this may just be one of our longest blog posts to date, but there were just far too many exquisite details, happy moments & beautiful couples shots to choose from.
In a few weeks time, it’ll be C&I’s first Wedding Anniversary, so we wish you both the happiest day & hope that your first year of marriage has been utterly wonderful in every way. Thank you for letting us share in what was such an amazing day! Xx
June Wedding Day #marriedatmillbridge
Earlier on this Summer, C & D had their beautiful Wedding Day here at Millbridge Court which saw some really fantastic industry suppliers come together to bring their fairytale day to life.
The Bride & Groom were lucky enough to have the illusive Summer sunshine make an appearance on their big day, which enabled them to have the most breathtaking Arbor Ceremony, complete with exquisite milk churn floral arrangements, abundant with blush and peach blooms, created by the uber talented Hannah Berry Flowers.
The heavenly floralising didn’t end there, with Hannah creating elegant & fragrant centrepieces which looked so perfect alongside the soft grey linens & glassware chosen by the couple. The abundant milk churn arrangements were also brought inside following the Ceremony to frame the top table, a wonderful way to make the most of show stopping flowers! Further adding to the Dining Barn’s styling was C & D’s Wedding Cake; a four tier gold leaf, peach & grey marble masterpiece made by Elle Gerrish (Designer Cakes By Elle) which consisted of a Lime & Coconut, Red Velvet & Caramel layers with a salted caramel drizzle.
Their chosen photographer was none other than VLA Photography, who captured all of the days details so beautifully along with all of those special moments. Autumn Wedding Day #marriedatmillbridge
In October of last year, Millbridge Court was lucky enough to host A+R’s beautiful Wedding Day which brought together a selection of really talented industry suppliers.
With the Bride being a part of glamorous womenswear brand, Needle & Thread, she was no stranger to Wedding Fairs & the industry as a whole, so it was no surprise that the vision A brought to life on her Big Day was so stylish & elegant.
The Barn’s looked so romantic adorned with floral arrangements made up of an abundance of hydrangeas & roses sourced by the Bride & created by Bex from a Blush Floral Design. They also had white, opaque Bubblegum balloons which were installed high on the beams & on each Dining Table & to further add to the minimal style of the day, the Bride & Groom chose to have ghost chairs for both the Ceremony & dining.
A+R’s Wedding Cake was a real showstopper created by Rachel Hill which consisted of layers of delicious carrot cake, cherry bakewell & chocolate orange cake. And the sweet treats didn’t end there, with Kalm Kitchen creating a chic Patisserie Bar filled with delicate little Banoffee Puddings, Eton Mess, Raspeberry Mousse & Elderflower Jellies.
Joining us for the day capturing all of those precious moments & the exquisite details was Chloé (Caught The Light). Her images are so stunning that they were even featured in Brides Magazine earlier this year; thank you ever so much for sharing them with us also.
