Millbridge Court Tasting Evening

On Wednesday Evening we hosted another of our spectacular Tasting Evenings with our award winning catering team, Kalm Kitchen. Joining us for the occasion was the fabulous Tristan Mackay, an acoustic guitarist and singer who serenaded our couples throughout their drinks reception and meal. We met Tristan at one of our September Weddings and were blown away with his musical talents and loved his kind and personable nature. He has since been added on to ‘Our Partners’ page and we look forward to working with him this year and beyond.
We also had MBC Partner, Jay Archer as the chosen florist for the evening. She created the most spectacular tablescape on long banquet tables in our Dining Barn and a beautiful cascading floral arrangement for our Patisserie Boutique. Working with this immensely talented lady is always so exciting, as we know that she’s always thinking outside the box and coming up with new and exciting ways to dress our Barns. Jay went above and beyond decorating our shelves, bringing in gorgeous, ornate framed pictures from her home and placing them on each shelf alongside candles and other decorative items. It’s no wonder so many of our couples are choosing to have Jay as their florist for their Big Day at Millbridge Court and we can’t wait to see what she creates next.
Our couples were greeted in our lounges where they were offered the opportunity to try our Prosecco, Cava, Champagne and two Cocktails, one of which is our talented Bar Managers own creation ‘Little Sicily’, as well as an array of delicious canapes. They then moved through to our Dining Barn where a sharing charcuterie board awaited them, our couples were then served four beautiful plated starters, each illustrating the array of menu options on offer. Our immensely popular Carve At The Table menu option was also on offer to try on Wednesday evening alongside a few of our delicately plated new main course options. Dessert was presented as beautifully as ever on our Patisserie Boutique so that guests could get a feel for the exquisite presentation and the concept of such a wonderfully informal and visually breath-taking dessert service.
