September Wedding Day At Millbridge Court #marriedatmillbridge

Not too long ago we posted a blog about our Voters Comments from the Wedding Industry Awards and you may have seen that we wrote about a Bride who felt so strongly that she could not possibly say all of the wonderful things that she wanted to about us all here at Millbridge Court in just 500 words that she emailed them to ask if there was anyway they would let her submit something longer… now that very lovely Bride would be this lady, the new Mrs Thomas.

A&R got married here at Millbridge Court on one of that last September weekends of 2015 and what a gorgeous weekend it was. The sun shone from start to finish and they were able to get married underneath our Arbor. The talented Anna Fowler was their chosen photographer who captured the details of the day so beautifully and Blush Floral Design created wonderfully romantic and rustic flowers throughout the Barns and grounds.

Mr & Mrs Thomas wanted a wonderfully informal menu for their day with multiple sharing options that could keep their guests entertained and mingling throughout. They chose a sharing Mezze Board as their starter, followed by our fabulous Carve at the Table Lamb dish as their main course. They announced who each carver was after their starter had been cleared and provided each lucky guest with a comedy apron, which was warn with pride as they headed on in to the kitchen to pick up their tables joint of Lamb. For dessert, the guests were then treated to a spectacular Patisserie Boutique and fromagerie. A grazing station that tey could help themselves to for a few hours following the sit down part of the Wedding Breakfast.

Below is a snapshot of just how gorgeous their day was and a few words from the Bride herself about her Wedding Day here at Millbridge Court.

“Having only got engaged 2 weeks before coming to see Millbridge Court and then booking that day, to have our wedding just nine weeks later – It was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived we knew this was the definitely the place we wanted to get married. It was modern, beautiful, sophisticated and just utter gorgeousness.

I am a very attention to detail girl, I have to check everything and know just how I want it (some may say fussy ha) but after meeting you both and the email exchanges that we had I knew I didn’t have to worry about a thing. You ladies are creative perfectionists.

So to our guests – ‘Beautiful day’, ‘Amazing day’, ‘Fabulous’, ‘Superb’, ‘Truly amazing’, ‘Phenomenal celebration’ is just a few words of feedback. We have been inundated with messages and calls from our guests about the day – Amazing food (oh how they loved the food, so many comments on the food), the venue (Beautiful/Perfect), the service, how fun it was and just generally how it was the perfect day.

So……. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us create our perfect day in such a short space of time. I will be honest and say I didn’t find any of the planning stressful at all because of your amazing team you didn’t make me worry once – I had complete confidence that you would deliver from day one of stepping into Millbridge and meeting with Laura.

What is also lovely is that you made us feel like our wedding was the most important event when we were liaising with you, you didn’t make it feel like ‘another wedding’ the service you provide is truly personal.”
